Celebrating Milestones: The Mayor’s Fund Marks it’s 6th Anniversary Alongside Mayor Rex Richardson’s 40th Birthday Bash
On August 24, 2024 the Altar Society Brewing and Coffee Co. in Long Beach graciously held the Mayor’s Fund for Education unveiling of its new identity as the Mayor’s Fund for Long Beach, expanding its mission to more broadly serve the community, as well as celebrated Mayor Rex Richardson's 40th birthday. Bringing together key figures like from our community such as Laurie Petersen, Mario Cordero, Doug Haubert, Sarah Soriano, and Mark Taylor, this gathering highlighted the Fund's and Mayor’s commitment to enhancing support for Long Beach's youth and families, and in ushering a promising new chapter for our city.
